Set to air September 22, 2008, Season 3 which is titled "Villians" will open with a 2 hour episode and will be preceeded by a 1 hour clip show of the past 2 seasons. This Volume was actually soppose to air as the second part of Season 2 but thanks to the writter's strike it had to be delayed as the begining of season 3.
The lead-in to "Villains" featured a scene with Sylar, which was shown as the final scene of the "Generations" finale. Throughout Volume Two, Sylar's powers were suppressed by the Shanti virus.After using a cure, procured by Mohinder Suresh, he regained his abilities, delivering the first lines of Volume Three, "Villains": "I'm back."
